Hello again!
Pikaba support team prepared tip message for our sellers about how to list your product correctly.
Adding items one at a time is not a problem: you can manually select category for your product, write title and description, choose the right tag, select the picture you like and set the price. Importing form eBay is easy too – our system works perfectly with eBay listings.
So we’ll speak about starting data feed using Excel, CSV, Word, PDF or other Inventory software. When you submit your price list our system analyzes all items in price and converts to unique Pikaba format so it’s very important for you to make no mistakes, otherwise your products will be shown incorrect.
What has to be in that price, what structure shall it has? To help you here some rules how to compose the ideal price list. The main rule is “one product – one line” – every new line in your product spreadsheet is qualified by our system as a new item. Your product spreadsheet has to have several columns for each line: name, category, tags, description, price and picture – if all this columns exist and filled in – you may be sure that your product will be listed 100% correctly. Also, in description and picture columns you may use HTML tags you need. Be sure that your HTML source valid and contains no unclosed tags or any mistakes.
And one more thing, our system transforms many formats, but, as we noticed, the best results come out if your price list composed in xml or CSV.
Enjoy to sell with Pikaba an good luck.
Simple mistakes and how to avoid them

Hi there! Today I’ve got a message from our support team about some common mistakes in your requests and products and tips how to avoid them.
We will start from very common mistake: product reposting. For example you have a nice IKEA table and you have already submitted it to our system. You have no need to repost the same product next day. It does not depends how old your listed product is and how close to the top it is displayed, it is already tracked by our matching system. Now, as long as your product is listed at Pikaba, you will receive automatic notifications about new requests for your product. So if you posted the same product several times the only benefit you get – more identical notifications.
Now about requests. If you want to buy a car you need to create a request and that’s all. Quite simple as it has to be. But if you want to buy a car and some accessories – there can be some problems. Many users decide “If I need a car and AC/tires/bumper/something other for it, it will be better to write all this stuff in a one request.” It is a mistake. To make you request usable for our system you should follow the simple rule: one product – one request. So to get the best result you should create individual request for car and for every component or accessorize you need.
If you have any questions feel free to mail our support team. Pikaba support is always ready to help you.

Karen Aho, a freelance writer in Boston, recently created a wonderful, in-depth article on organizing a group buy on the Internet: "All alone? Get a group discount". The piece was published by MSN Money and, before that, I had the honor of presenting the Pikaba’s group buying capabilities to Karen.
“Online opportunities expand the advantages of co-ops for buying cars, food, gas and more. What if shoppers had one place to go to create a group buy for any item?” – Karen wrote.

You can take advantage of group buying by creating (or joining) a group on Pikaba and get quick help from other members, sellers, and advisors.
